ferrari 308

Just a quick and dirty project to try out a nailpolish I had laying around...

It's a slammer, just wheels, glass and a screen in the back.
The paint shimmers from ruby to gold and even a bit of green.

That looks awesome. I love how people can use things like nail polish to do bodies because it's clever way to use what's around you. Nice but not my taste.

Re: ferrari 308

LownSlow did actually "inspire "me with his Lambo lowrider a few weeks ago.
I had gotten the body together with some other parts on e-bay and had no other plans for it. The nailpolish I got from Walmart a while back. It's 'Nail Prisms' from Sally Hansen, so I guess its available at Sally beauty supply too.
The mesh is from a piece of an industrial filter I still had from my job 6 years back.

I've noticed some fantastic colours in nail polish and one day I plan to try them out. As the nearest HS is 300 miles away and I've totally had it with trying to order stuff, I like to use what's around the house too. I think this turned out pretty good. It almost looks the model was plated and not painted. It certainly is different but I like it. Good use of that screen too. Nice work.
ps- did you ever finish that '59 Caddy? I must have missed it somehow.
