Brake Difference between 1500 and HD's
I have a 2000 K1500 and I really like it except for the brakes. I'm thinking ahead about my next truck (Chevy of course) and was wondering if the 1500HD or 2500HD brakes are any bigger/better.

Re: Brake Difference between 1500 and HD's
Yes the brakes are bigger on the HD pickups. Have you ever thought about just putting a bigger brake kit on your pickup? Bear makes kits to put bigger pads and rotors on the truck, keep in mind that you may have to go to a bigger rotor, but not on every application.

Re: Brake Difference between 1500 and HD's
The Baer site is very confusing...looks like if I went with one of there sets I'd have to have at least 20" wheels. All I really want to know is the difference between 1500 and 1500HD and other HD brakes.
