Question about digital DIC's

Quick question: Does the digital Drivers Information Center (DIC) use bulbs to illuminate it?

The DIC in my car (99 GTP) is really dim on the right side. The left is fine, and I can see it well in daylight. The right side is very dim and can not be read during daylight hours.

Do I need a whole new DIC, or what?

Thanks in advance,

Thomas

Re: Question about digital DIC's

There are about 5 mini lamps for DIC illumination. You'll have to remove the dash bezel and DIC to replace the burnt out lamps.

Use Sylvania #24 mini-lamp available at most auto parts stores.
