location of engine number

hey ppl do u know how i can find out what kind of motor i have in my 95 talon esi if its a 4g63 or a 420A like where can i find it on the motor

rs, gs/esi have the 420a. GST, GSX/TSI&AWD have the 4g63 unless your talking about 1gs then they all have the 4g63 unless its the 1.8 in which case is the 4g37. Welcome to the forums and search. In the future people wont be willing to help you if you dont try and figure it out first

Theres a sticker in your engine bay, up on the firewall. It also lists the transmission, amoung a few other things.
