IMRC valve needed

I'm looking to purchase an IMRC valve from someone. I don't want to pay the exuberiant dealer cost. Prefer to be from a later model+2000. To fit a 3.8L, bank 2 (firewall side).

Thanks.

I am told that these are "ford exclusives"....good luck finding them. If you find a decent outlet for them, let me know, as I need both.

Re: IMRC valve needed

I sounds as tho you are working on a 3.8 that has two pneumatic IMRC actuators ... that would make it a '98 or earlier. At least one poster opened up his failed actuator and repaired the diaphragm using rubber cement and a patch.

Be aware that in '99 the system was changed to one actuator ... and it's electric.
