Air compressor in 2003 Montana

I was testing out the DVD player on a recently purchased 2003 Montana yesterday in the garage. I have had the ignition turned to the ON position but the car was not running while I was watching. About every 4 or 5 minutes I could hear what sounded like the air compressor in the rear starting up for about 5-10 seconds and then turning off.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks!

Re: Air compressor in 2003 Montana

It is your Automatic Level Controller working. Your shocks must lose a little bit of air during the cycle time that you are talking about.
Mine does the same.
Are you aware of your Automatic Level Controller? It keeps the van level if it is loaded with lots of people/cargo.....
