Exclamation Clutch problem. no pressure, wastes fluid!

So i am driving down he road one day shifting from 2nd to 3rd. when i pushed clutc in, it didn't pop out, i had to pull it out manually wit my foot. i stopped by the store on the way home and filled up my fluid because to my surprise, it was empty, well on the way home it did it again, and again and so on. well now, 3 days later, it as goten so bad that there is so much play and no pressure at all with my clutch and the fluid will be emtpy within 5 blocks. not sure where it's going but it isn't leaking inside under floor mat. clutch does not work now and when i try to start it in gear, i have to start car with my foot on some gas and get my roll on or nothin will happen except this weird sound. What should i do

Sounds like a bad slave cylinder/line. I would fill her up in the driveway and have a friend pump it see where its leaking from, then fix it.

I've done that already, and it's like it isn't leaking while the car is off, and it was hard to find while car was on, i'm not sure what the deal is

I would strongly say check your master cylinder... that's usually the problem (or at least the problem in the car's I've come up against)... you might wanna check the slave cylinder for reassurance... that is usually second...

I haven't ever personally had to replace the lines...

I would suggest sitting it on concrete... make sure it is leaking (let sit overnight)... look under the car, and use the spots as a reference for a starting area (be sure to clean up any spills)

Re: Clutch problem. no pressure, wastes fluid!

In my dads truck last week and my buddy's del sol last summer, no pressure was a slave cylinder problem.

Re: Clutch problem. no pressure, wastes fluid!

Well i messed up now. It was the slave for sure, took it apart and that thing was dust. so i put the new one in, (keep in mind that i am kinda new the mechanic world) i tried taking apart the line because i got new pieces so i figured why not....not a good idea. i broke the line. so i rigged it up and thought i could just put some JB Weld on it for temp use till i get to delearsip next week....not a good idea. i cake it on pretty good to make sure i don't have a leak and i get pressure. well, a few times of bleeding, drops of fluid start coming out, but i was building pressure though so that was good but it was only for a ew seconds. now i need to buy a new line, $15, but first i gotta figure out how to get all that JB Weld crap off. any ideas?
