Re: radar dectors

Never had any problems with any of my old cobra RDs The last one I had a few years back even gave me advanced warning of approaching emergency vehicles which the way they run their sirens these days that would come in handy.

I dont so much believe in them anymore since I kinda stand out as it is. My new frame of mind is its hard to get a ticket if your not doing anything to get pulled over for.

Re: radar dectors

dont know about radar detectors but i have had radio equipment made by cobra in the past and never had any problems, just my opinion, get a scanner instead of a radar detector,

Re: radar dectors

I have the Escourt Passport 8500 x50 with the blue Leds.

This has saved my butt a few good times. I usually get tipped off good 1-2 miles before i stumble across a cop.

Re: radar dectors

the bad part is most of them tell you that the cop is there and they can already see you, or people think that you can be doing 120 and then get back down to the 55 mph speed limit in time before the cop sees you

Re: radar dectors

I forgot all about these things, I need to get myself one. Possibly could've saved myself a ticket from going 85 in a 50 on the highway
