Where the heck is it??

I know which one's the engine computer. I know where the trans computer is, on the tranny. But I thought the one on the pass. side fire wall (above the alternator) was also for the tranny. Is that the BCM?? If not where is it?

Also, if I was intermittently losing signal to one or more injectors, where does that signal come from, BCM or SBEC?

I think one of the two is failing. I was thinking BCM because I was told that the fuel level sending unit went through the BCM before the guage and that the signal off of the sending unit is good but for some reason, our guage is very speratic. Goes from full to empty to 1/2 to full to 2/3 to empty to full, etc.

Although Im more concerned about the injector signals at the moment.

Can anyone tell me what the signal and ground are supposed to be at the injector plugs??

what you are looking for is behind the dash panel under the stearing wheel if you remove the panel you can see it to the right of the stearing colum that is where it is in the 1992

from96-2000 it is bolted to the fuse box under the dash and complete fuse box has to be removed to replace 91-93 it's on the right side of steering column and 94-95 it's under the front center console 2001-2006 it's under the left side of lower dash
