Radio not working.

My radio isn't working, it gets power and it emits sound ocasionally.. but 99.9% of the time it doesn't.

A code appears on the radio screen that says "SC 1" Anyone know what this code means?

eh how stupid of me, I forgot to mention its a 95 Nissan Sentra XE, and it has the stock radio.

it may be because ur speakers have bad connections. all four of my speakers can be hooked up.... or so i would think.... and i would get a code on my stereo when one of them came loose and it would promptly stop playing all together. try checking the harness on the back of the stereo for any worn wires or frays. if all else fails try gettin a new stereo and quit running stock.

I'll check that tomorrow. I'd like to replace the stereo, but I don't really have the extra cash right now :-( bummer...
