'94 or '95 Accord front wheel stud replacement
Thanks in advance for your perspective. I've never worked on fwd, but have a buddy with a 94 or 95 Accord with a broken front wheel stud. I know you've got to pull the shaft out to get behind the hub to replace it, but how difficult is the job? He's considering paying $130 to have it done. I'm thinking it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.
Any special tools or tricks required? I was thinking that his (totally stock) Accord might be ok with three good studs and one that's stripped. Thanks again for opinions. Fred

Re: Hey there Honda folks!
Wow, Fred - you're a moderator with a gazillion posts and you start a thread with a subject line like that? Tsk! Tsk!
And I hate to point this out, but that very subject has been discussed a number of times here (most recently about a week ago if I recall correctly). A search should turn up the answer to your question. |

Re: Hey there Honda folks!
Damnit, now I'm busted. Double busted since I didn't bother to search. Triple busted since he went ahead and had it done!
Thanks for the reply.
