Well that's it....The Fast and the Furious has finally reached my school...

It's amazing my school lasted this long actually. Since the movie came out, people said it was a cool movie and talked about it , but bought any rice.

Well that all changed this year, I drive into the parking lot and immediately see about 5 cars parked diagnolly in regular parking lanes. I guess they thought it would look cool all together Here's a list.

2002 White Honda Accord with a invader kit
mods - none

1996 Mitsubishi eclipse , no body kit yet
mods - exhaust and 18" chrome rims with two sony xplod 12's in the back
now if anyone knows car audio, they know that sony xplod are one of the worst possible subwoofers you can buy....and overpriced, but they look cool, so they have to sound good right!!! wrong

2002 Honda Civic with some body kit, don't know the name
mods- intake, exhaust, and chrome rims...with again some 15" sony xplod's in the back that sound horrible, but they look cool!!!

2000 Mercury Cougar - no body kit, but of course, more sony xplods !!!
SONY for everyone!!! (I wish these people had a clue)

and a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX, brand new, no complaint here, this car was made to race...it's fast even stock

well i guess all year I'm going to have to put up with these retards who refuse to go the track and get timed, because they "already know their cars are fast, they dont need proof",

Apparently, you don't know what a Fiat is either. A Fiat is Italian, and Fiat Motorcars is part of the Fiat conglomerate that manufactures about everything in Italy. Such as Alfa Romeos, Lancias, Ferraris, and Maseratis. Although Ferrari/Maserati is a separate company from Fiat Motorcars.

And hey, Abarth 500S's kicked Mini Cooper ass in the Targa Florio, if I recall correctly. And what about the Fiat/Bertone X-19? It's still the cheapest mid-engine Italian car you can get and it'll out handle a Porsche 914!

As for French cars, I'll sum it up in one name: Peugeot 206. Probably the best looking hatch on the road and a giant killer. Had a chance to ride in one two years ago, extremely nimble little thing. Needs a turbo, though. And why are we forgetting the advances Citroen has maade in motoring with cars like the 2CV (France's own Mini), the Traction Avant (beautiful FF sedan that came out in the late 30's) and the DS, a car so advanced it was named the car of the century when it was released in the sixties by the international motoring press.

but to be blunt, don't take personal offense. I support civics that are tastefully styled and are considered quick, but when one goes by with only a pipe, rims that dont match, neons with their bulbs showing etc etc it gets annoying.

good imports are just as easy to make. my friend is going for only show, his hyundai elantra. Just last night we installed the blue neons ourselves concealing every bulb and making sure it lit up the grill. It took 4 hours but looks amazing on his silver car. once he gets 17's hes done, and hes not messing with the engine because he knows it's futile.

and for the record fiats coupes are turbocharged

a WRX would rape your maxima in the ass, and they happen to be one of the fastest production cars for the price. and after it killed you in the 4th it would destroy you in the twisties with its AWD. so shut up and show some respect for things outside of big pipes and decals.

Look, I'm gonna get a lot of shit for this, but the WRX is the most overrated car ever made, at least the U.S. version is. It is some 50 hp down on the STi jap-spec version. Oh yeah Bryan, my friend has ridden in a WRX and he says my car handles better than a WRX because it is more stable and less jumpy at high speed cornering so:finger: . Anyway, back to the WRX, they are also butt ugly......they look like a box on wheels, you could easily mistake them for a civic 4-door if it didn't have the optional wing and/or the 17 inch tires on it. True, they are faster than most, but they are hard to drive fast because the powerband is so limited, kind of like the S2000, but that's what you get for having a turbo 4-cylinder. And even VR6 01 said he beat one of those things with his bone stock GTI, so they can't be all that great.
