Whats your favorit kind of music

What kind of music do you like the best? If you have a favorit group and or song let us know...

I myself like all kinds of music but country. There might be one or two country songs i might like but that is it. Everthing else I like. Rock is prob my favorit however.

im definately into rock music. lately i've become a fan of 80's rock. some of my favorite bands are:
3 doors down, 3 days grace, crossfade, disturbed, institute, motley crue, nickelback, pillar, p.o.d, rob zombie, saliva, Theory Of A Dead Man, trapt, and zz top.

my favorite song right now is superstar II by saliva.

Big fan of the alternative. Theres nothing like good music! But I'm a quality guy over quantity. I'll take clear music over loud. Which reminds me, didn't we recently have a post just like this?

I listen to AC/DC, Stone Sour, Smashing Pumpkins, stuff like that...I do however like Manson a lot! I didn't until I saw him live.

old music, it can be soul to rock 'n' roll. and some newer stuff. but nothing from the last 5 or so years.

I'm all about the alternative/rock. I listen to Rise Against, Fall Out Boy, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, etc.
I guess I don't really have an open mind because I don't like anything else. I HATE rap/hiphop and country. But I do enjoy classical from time to time.

I like ALL rock music: 50's on through today, but I REALLY love metal... not no fairy metallica bullshit either... Overkill, O9mm, Slipknot, Annihilator, etc. I just can't freaking STAND the whiny little losers like STAIND who A: can't fucking spell, B: Can't write a song that's not about how big of a pussy they are, and C: Think that because they wrote a song they are some kind of musical, political and moral geniuses.

"...Cause I'm on the outside and you're looking in, and I can see your true colors..." WUSS!!! NO ONE has an easy time growing up. Real men deal with it and make successes of themselves... fags like them whine, complain, blame other people for their problems and leech off society. These bands today just totally SUCK! Can't anyone write a song about having some god-damned fun! (Man I miss Bon Scott.)

I never said i could spell...lol. I am an emt intermediate not a paramedic. Here in Oregon the paramedic is a AA degree, EMT I is just a year long. Basic class six months. Intermediate class six months. So oops someone fire me...lol

i know i was just saying. i said rock in general and included 2 or 3 80's bands in addition to some PRESENT DAY BANDS. i didn't know i had to separate them

I listen to all types of good rock music, ranging from folk rock to heavy metal. Right now, my favorite band has to be Dream Theater, each member of the band is talented beyong belief and they play a huge variety of rock, but the heavier stuff is deffinitaly their best.

All types, depending on mood. Alot of oldies lately. If i had to pcik a favorite tho, it's hands down The Cure, had and may again have a cover band.

Let's see, if by era a few

oldies: Del Shannon, Stones, Beetles, Supremes, your basic variety

"70'"s: Aeorsmtih, Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Ac/Dc, The Cure, Sex Pistols

80's: "New wave" baby, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Thompson Twins, Smiths, Simple Minds, Billy Idol, u2, B-52's, Dead milkmen, new Order, NIN, Babes in Toyland, P/I/L. .............this list could go on forever.

90's-today music ( out of placers): The Cure, Candlebox, Limp Bizkit, Beastie Boys, Eminem, Creed, Live, Ditsurbed. Tool...your garden variety radio mush.

Metal/faster: Megadeath, Metallica (before they sobered up and became a household name), Motley Crue, Dead Kennedys, Msifits, Front 242, KMFDM, Marylin Manson (love the personal Jesus cover they came up with), Pigface............,

basically all the WAXTRAX crew, straight out of Clark & Belmont Chicago, I was there.

Meh, in the 80's and 90 I kinda sunk into an almost purely metal funk. Slayer, Testament, Overkill, Powermad, SOD / MOD, Anthrax, Exodus, King Diamond, Voivod, Megadeth, Broken Bones, Wrathchild America, Death Angel, early Crue, etc.

I also found (mid-to late 80's) Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Doors, and the other staples somewhere around this time.

I actually like classical music too, and have developed quite a collection over the years. My new ones (since getting married) are Elvis and Frank. Muddy's getting to me too. Him and Detroit Jr.

Never much got into the Cure and Depeche Mode or Dead Kennedys, but can listen to them. I just CAN'T FRIGGIN STAND "IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT" (or mosty U2 songs) ... that song sparks images of violence beyond imagination.

Currently getting back into metal... Lamb of God, etc. Just... there never really be another mid-80's era Slayer, Testament, Death Angel, or first 2 / 3 albums era O9mm. Just enough blast your ear drums out heaviness in with the jamming.
