Starting issues 91 Bird 3.1?
Over the last few weeks my 91 Bird 3.1L V6 is getting harder and harder to start. Sometimes it fires right up but other times I need to hold the key for a few seconds before the starter engages. Am I right to assume that the starter is the problem? It almost seems as if the 12 volts necessary to spin the starter are taking a while to "get there" as it were. The battery and alternator both seem to be fine but I'm worried the time will come soon where the starter just won't work.

Re: Starting issues 91 Bird 3.1?
Does it do it more when the engine is warmed up, then shut off and restarted (like getting gas and then attempting to re-start?) If so, the starter is your issue.
