what size?

what size speakers are in my doors on my 95 ford contour, Ive resently bought a jvc cd player that pushing about 200 watts and its killing my factory speakers so can anyone replaced their's HELP!

5x7...btw, how is your cd player pushing 200 watts? Most only push like 50 watts tops.

yes they are 5x7 and if you plan on keeping them that way and you are really pushing 200 watts i highly recommend Boston speakers. in my opinion they are by far the best 5x7 speakers i have ever heard. if you are familiar with car audio you can easily upgrade both sets to 6x9's with minimal fabrication to the doors. also make sure you get all the screw out of the doors before you even try to remove them including the screw inside the door handle. if you look through the forum someone has posted a diagram of the contour door panel which shows the position of all of the screws.
