Revenge in a stock Saturn....

Just saw this site...awesome. Have a little story of my own about the capability of the sl2--the most underestimated car in U.S. auto history.

On this day, my 2000 sl2 was stock, including the tires, except for a K&N filter in the stock airbox. I live in Tallahassee, FL, one of the worst towns for aggressive driving you'll ever find. Turning right onto a major highway, I entered the service lane which ends several yards later. You must merge onto the highway. I was stopped and was spotting my opening. Just as it was approaching, one of the new generation Toyota Celicas entered the service lane. I started my car rolling, thinking 'yep, this jerk is going to try to cut me off and make me stop in this lane'. He entered late enough to not have to stop, so he already had a pretty good roll going. You guessed it--he was a jerk. I floored it, or near it (it's ok, I use Mobil 1), left him and entered the highway. As I did, I saw the Celica in my rear-view make a sharp right back into the service lane. Ahh, one for the good guys.

Of course, I don't know if he had the GT. Still sweet though.
