On my Clio (1998 Mk2 Phase 1) you have to pull the stalk a bit further to get the main beam to come on when the headlights are already on and it clicks to keep them on, so try pulling the stalk further. Hope that helps.

It Means When My Sidelights Are On I Pull Stalk Back To Flash People And It Works.
When Headlights Are On I Pull Stalk Back, Nothing Happens Atall Which Means I Cant Flash Anyone At Night Or Anything,the Full Beams Dnt Work Atall Then.its Really Wierd. Need Some Idears Of What This Could Be?
