fuel injector problems

I have a 1990 century with the 3300. When in park i can just tap the gas a few times and will usuall sputter and die untill warm. I was wondering what the resistance is supposed to be for the injectors, mine are for two- 10.0Ohms, the other four- 12.3.Ohms. Are the two at 10Ohms bad? Also how do you check flow rate? Is there any way to check the fuel rail?

12-16 ohms is common for Multec injectors. 10 ohms is serviceable, but may indicate the solenoid coils are beginning to fail. If you check the injector resistance when they are hot (after running for at least 15 minutes) you may have a better idea of their health.

There is no reliable method for checking injector flow rates on the vehicle. Checking injector pulse widths through a PCM data scan might indicate a problem, but just as easily might not. They need to be removed, pulsed on a controlled fixture, and measured for actual cc flows. There is also a possiblity that an injector which still flows at the proper rate does not produce an adequate spray pattern (streaming or dribbling), which will act like a low-flow injector at idle and low throttle angles, and may act normally at higher throttle angles.

Check the fuel rail? How do you mean? Fuel pressure can be checked at the rail(s), and the rail(s) can be visually inspected for leakage or damage, but there is little else to be checked.

Thanks for the help on the injectors I will check them after work tonight. What are the solenoid coils? For the fuel rail, I've heard that can get clogged up, how would I check that?

I checked them when warm and they were either the same or had a higer resistance. But the engine sounded a little different as I unpluged them this tim.Before only two made it run like crap, but this time four or five sounded like crap. I think I'm just going to replacethem all though.
