Starter?

ok my question is the following, I have a 97 rodeo that just recently started giving me problems, at times it wont start, but after the 5th try it alway's starts... now ive'd try changing the starter but it still does the same thing, im going to try a different starter but what are the chances it could be something else... also it cannot be the battery since i just recently replaced it, and it's alway's above 12volts...
