Exhaust idea
Alright first i want to say excuse the photoshop work because i did it in paint in like 3 minutes. second this is on th edrivers side of the car just past the door. its a coupe. i want to put the muffler perpendicular to the car and have it face sideways where there is an s curve in the stock piping. if my picture doesnt do my description justice which it probably wont go look on your cars and you can see where i am talking about. i anyone else thinks this is a cool idea let me know and if you dont like it keep it to yourself. no im just kidding let me know what you all think. im not looking for performance just originality. i can get a smaller muffler most likely for free so ill have to say goodbye to the one i have now but its ok. so without further ado here it is.

Re: Exhaust idea
Its been done. Its just side car ported exhaust. It can be cool if done right but if done wrong it can produce nasty effects such as heat issuse as well as mucking up the paint or side skirts if any.

Re: Exhaust idea
Haha ive only seen it done nice once, on a gt mustang in front of a movie theater. Haha first time I ever saw it and still the best to date. As for the Cavi, I believe it can be done, altho it will take alot of work. Not to mention everything else has to flow with it, like having it lowered just the right bit, and all other kinds of crap. Of course this is all in my opinion, but hey, thats what forums are for.

Re: Exhaust idea
If anything I would say go with a dual setup and port it out both sides with a nice deep angle cut to the tips. Going single out would just be odd and wacky.

Re: Exhaust idea
oh im sorry i thought this was thei fast car forums not the putt putt golf cart thread. i know what im dong, i have a professional job where i work on cars, famous ones. youve probably esnn them in 2 fast 2 furions, i did the green jetta from the fast race snence. if you just funnel the exhaust pipes into the engine youll boost the revs of the horsepower to at least x2 what they are in your stupid golf car 1 mile an hour caval-suck.

and the only thing you did to that green jetta is drooled over it when you saw it in the movie (anyone know??? is it even that nice of a car??) hell, its probably conveinently one of the nicest in the movie since you seem this "into it" why dont you post a few pics of some of your work in progress, or let me guess, you dont want us to see your "secret projects" either that or youll say someting like "i dont have to prove myself" we've heard them all.....
