Re: proud of my battery
My factory battery lasted 11k miles - no joke.
I'm at 160k and currently on it's 3rd battery - not bad.

I replaced my OEM battery this year at 67,000 miles and at 7 years.
Never ever discharge the battery. I replaced it because of starting problem and without hesitation blame it on the battery. Replace it, after a week still got the problem, ends up with the starter being the problem. Brand: DELCO

Re: proud of my battery
on my 99, the OEM battery was replaced last fall. It still worked fine, but I decided it was time. I was always curious as to how long it would go, but didn't want to get stranded finding out.

Re: proud of my battery
Maybe this is bad, but I've got a 2001 with 119,000 miles AND the original battery...
