1990 Grand Prix Wont Start!!

1990 Grand Prix with 3.1 liter FI engine.
Okay. Here goes. Got a great deal on this car and it runs excellent, when it starts that is. Here is the issue. When the car gets hot, whether it is being driven or not, (I say that because it happened on a 95 degree day even when not being driven.), the car will not start. You turn the key and nothing but dash lights come on. No fuel pump noise, no starter clicking, no nothing. If I let the car sit until it cools off then it starts right up and runs great until it gets hot and you shut it off. Then wont start again. I replaced the thermostat before I realized it happened even when car was just sitting in the sun. It doesnt spit or sputter or stall. I pulled the computer and jiggled all the wires and car still ran fine. The computer was replaced once as we found the old one in the trunk. So I'm assuming that the previous owners were having the same problem with the car and were trying to fix it. If someone has any ideas I could use the help. And dont tell me its Gremlins. lol. Thanks. Steve

Check all battery cables and connections for corrosion. Don't just do a visual check, remove the cables from the battery (as side post batteries can corrode without any outside signs). Resistance increases with temperature, so also have the battery checked. Since you're getting nothing, I'd rule out a bad starter and look toward the battery or cables.
