91 Celica Engine Problem Need Advice
My 91 Celica has gotten finnnicky, some mornings it will start fine and run with no problems.
Other days it will start fine and when I try to leave the driveway it will die, I restart it , go 30 feet and it dies again. sometimes I will go to the corner stop hit the gas and it dies. I may travel a quater of a l mile sit at a light idle when I pull off it dies. sometimes this never happens, after it has been driven a couple of miles theproblem corrects itself ofr the rest of the day.. next morning it starts all over again , soemtimes does not show up on an analysis machine anyone have any thoughts as to what I need to start replacing thanks Lifer6237 in Louisville |

Re: 91 Celica Engine Problem Need Advice
Hi,has the engine check light come on while driving?if not then the best test is to have someone listen if the fuel pump comes on while you crank the engine at the time when it's giving the problem, had the same probs with a toyota before and it was the F pump.
