engine .vs. fuel grades

ok we got low, mid, and high grades of fuel, all approved by some bob odem guy. well i own a civic with the standard motor no upgrades. but i notice a huge change in my motor preformance with the supreme of course, last night i put a vtech to shame.. so it makes me want to use it for 30 cents more ill take the good stuff.
ive heard somthing about the fuel injector wearing out because of high octane fuel in a not high octane vehicle...
true / or false
is it a bad idea to use the supreme fuel ?

I've always ran supreme in all my cars, never had any problems with fuel injectors, and I've never heard of supreme causing these kinds of problems. Other countries like Japan have higher octane gas than we do and I dought they use different injectors on JDM versus what we get here.
