Saturn vs Dodge Ram Daytona

Well, after not posting a race in here for a while, I thought I would share a recent one with you all to let you know that yes, my car is still unfortunately kicking.

I was heading back home last night around midnightish, when I see a truck with a spoiler and nice sounding exhaust go past me at about 60 in a 45. I cruise up to about a car behind him, but then the split comes for my house and i decide "ah screw it" and head home. He cuts across 4 lanes and take the same split I do, so now I am interested.

We get past some traffic and i pace him at 60 for a bit. He just slowly increases speed till 70 without going for it, so im a little unsure if he is actually going to do anything. Right when i think that he floors it, and i shift down to 4th. We hit 75, 80, and i pull a half car. 85, 90, another car. I end up having to leave the party early on account of what looked like an unmarked cop who braked in the opposite lane and put on his hazards, but up around that speed, the aerodynamics were not working in the truck's favor. He continued on at around 90, hopefully didnt get pulled.

Car hit the 200k mark today, fucker won't die.

Re: Saturn vs Dodge Ram Daytona

Good kill on the truck. What type of Saturn do you own? My brother has a 95 SL2, which he bought a TD04 turbo for. Should be interesting to see what it does for his car, considering how light it is.

Good eye spotting the undercover Po-Po. They're coming in swarms lately in California. Thankfully most of them are Crown Vics, and aren't that fast (Though I always pull over ~ good excuses used on my part - honesty).

Re: Saturn vs Dodge Ram Daytona

I have a 95 sl2 as well. I was thinking about a turbo, but when i got the car it had over a 100k on it, and i didnt want anything to happen to it and me be stuck without transportation. Do you know how much power your brother is expecting out of it?

The po was a crown vic, as soon as i saw him brake, i got out of dodge city
