Remove the negative battery lead for 30 seconds.

It will take a scanner to get a good reset on it.
But why does it need reseting?
Any warranty left on it?
What is it doing or not doing?

Re: Reset ECU

actually i dont need to reset the ECU, i had done som modifications to my Cold Air Intake to make it work for my car because it was made for an 03 - 04 and i have an 05. there were a few differences with some vacuum hoses but i fixed it. the reason i wanted to reset the ecu was to see if what i had done had fixed the problem bc the check engine light stays on for a certain amount of cycles and goes off if it doesnt detect a problem. thanx for the help anyway guys.

That may be.
But I always find it better to reset the pcm with a scan tool and then let it do it thing.
