how the hell am i suppose to read this thing?

how the hell am i suppose to read this thing?i just changed the oil on my girlfriends 97' civic i pulled out the dipstick to check the oil level and there are no lines or markings of anykinda on it. how can i tell when its good on oil or too low?

Both sides have no markings or cross-thatching? Buy a new one.

make sure oil is close to the top hole or slightly covering it....that's all
