re clicking sound

i have a sound in the left side of my 3.4L motor when you are in front of the car. The sound came maybe from the strap. The sound is perceptive only when the car is on park or on an stop sign.

thanks

Re: re clicking sound

Sounds like what mine does. Try turning on the a/c or defrost and check to see if the sound goes away.

Mine has been like that forever, just gets worse with time, but it hasn't caused any problems so far.

From what I've been told by about every mechanic is that it is the a/c belt or something like that that is rubbing when it spins free, but when it is clutched will stop because it isn't spinning against the wear of the device.

p.s ac/ and defrost still work great, no worries
