Rear window seperating from canvas top!

Does anyone know how to fix a back window that has seperated from the convertible top on my 1998 convertible??
Thanks much for any advice you can throw my way.

Re: Rear window seperating from canvas top!

Sorry I may be to late to help--I just found this forum site. I have an '02 and had the same problem, and was told by a professional top installer that I would have to replace my top. I'm more determined than that. Urethane, the stuff auto window replacement folks use did the trick. A 1/4 of a $15 tube was all it took. Just be careful the stuff is not easy to work with.

Re: Rear window seperating from canvas top!

I bought a tube of urethane from the local paint shop, I rigged two professional suction cups borrowed from a glass window installer to a beam in the carport. Wire and turnbuckles helped me keep tension tight. works great.
