Pontiac cars for sale? near chicago

i've been having trouble with my grand am. ive posted several problems in these forums and its pretty much going good now, but i wana switch from a auto transmission to a manual. and i dont wana do it in my current grand am cuz that;ll be too much money, which i dont have. I was wondering if anyone here, or anyone that you know, is selling a pontiac car, in good condition and a stick shift car, cuz im interested. Illinois please cuz im not too familiar with the stick shift,so i wont make it long distances... but i want to learn how to drive them. if its near downers Grove illinois thats great but doesnt have to be. message me if you have any sales.... thank you very much

preferably price no more than $4,000

one more question.... how much would it probably be to change from automatic to manual? what work would be involved? im just curious. maybe i'll do that instead if its cheaper heh.

So is your 95 GA a 4cyl?
It might not be to expensive to make it a stick.
Its probly not a DIY thing unless youve replaced tranys before.

But for $4K you should be able to find something in your area.
Hav you tried any internet sites?
