Back to smaller tires - anyone interested ...

in LT265/75 R16's in the Yokohama Geolander AT II's with 12k miles?

Tires are in excellent condition, no tears, punctures, etc and have been rotated twice at 5k miles, wearing very evenly.

Reason I'm offering them is we've opted to go back to the 265/70 series for a little more gain in mpg and to save wear/tear on the automatic tranny; as this truck will now be driven at close to 400 miles/day - our construction truck is 21yrs old and is retiring at the end of summer. The Rodeo will be taking it's place until we come up with enough $$$ to buy another older Toyota p/up.

Don't need them for my Xterra, either, as those tires are brand-new and that SUV has been sold to my sister. The tires would rot before needing use.

If anyone's interested, preferably in or around Denver, CO let me know. Taking best offer, including shipping, if need be.

Thanks for offering these Ramblin'.
I've got an idea...since you're in Colorado, and I'm in Maine. You're what, at about 5000 feet, and I'm at sea level. If you point them in an east - northeast direction and give them a good shove, they'll roll all the way here. No shipping cost.

Seriously though - that's cool of you to offer them. How many people do we know that have unneeded tires just sitting in their garage or back yard when they could be used by someone else with a similar vehicle? I'm all set, should be able to get another inspection sticker out of my current BFG Trails.
Take care,
Tom

If I had 16" wheels and didnt have 1 yr old tires already I would take you up on it. I want to go with 32s when I get it lifted and need new tires again. I dont have anywhere to store them either
