Battery Help

Believe it or not, I have a 2001 Stratus. Alright, it's my wife's car. Anyhow, I have a dead battery and I've never looked under the hood before today. Aside from knowing where the terminals are (+ and -) I can't locate the battery. Is it underneath somewhere?

Welcome on your first poat on AF.
If all else fails look in the owners manual.
On some cars I have found the under the rear seat.

I think (but may be wrong) but it is under the stuff on the front fender well

I have a 97 stratus, and my battery is in the left front driver-side tire well behind the mud guard in front of the tire.
Hope this helps.

I hated having the battery stuffed up in the fender so I relocated the damn thing.
