89 Hatch fuel tank size and maint?

Hey guys I finally got the hatch on the road this weekend. I filled up 8.6 gallons and wanted to kno what the exact size of what tank would be?

also

The car has 81k I wanted to kno what I should be looking for maintence wise this week. What are the main things I should check out and maybe change? I'm assuming just the usual oil, filter, plugs, wires, battery, intake filter, cv joints?

THanks guys

idk the tank size but i would guesstimate 11.8 gallons

radiator flush, tranny fluid, check the brake rotors and pads (drums & shoes), check hoses for leaks, you know the usual.

got pics???

Since you have a standard hatch, i think your tank is a little less than 11.9 gallons. So you didnt have that many more miles to go. Oh and be warned, your car has no warning low fuel light, so don't expect that to pop on when your low on gas. Also, did you replace your timing belt and water pump? At 81k, the time seems right.

Actually, only the HF had a smaller tank. And Ive put 12.1 Gal in, and it was seriously in the throat of the tank, was afraid to put the cap on for fear of it pouring out.

Nice thanks I was wondering about the light. I assume 9-10 tops is the tank size. I just want to know the max amount I can get outta this car. I sold my SRT in hopes to save money right now.

Re: 89 Hatch fuel tank size and maint?

my 88dx only had a 9.something gallon tank, but I think that was only 88. Check the cap and rotor also, rotors are known to come loose on these things.
