my dreaded interior :(

okay boys, here comes time to change my interior again I'm painting my doors and repainting the top plastic part by the windshield, and the panels lining your doors. On top of that I'm taking my LEDs that I have and moving them to the trunk, not permantly where they're going to be, just in there. I can't put them in place yet b/c I do not have my 12's nor do i have the enclosure for the 4 subs...so I'm just going to place them in there...ever so gently, lol. THEN, I finish what I started tonight. Replacing my door speakers, and I threw in a little surprise for everybody. I can't show you until tomorrow night when it's finished, but let's just say "I was bored, and thought of a challenge, hehe"....Hope it works, haha. and if my gauges come tomorrow I'll throw those in there and snip my DRL wire. THEN i'll take my cd player out...hopefully find out why my AUX isn't working (iPod). and HOPEFULLY get it to fit in there like they used to. phew. oh yeah, I got a free pioneer 6 1/2" speaker too... I'll tell you that tomorrow too, when I explain my idea. Goodnight

You really dont need that much experience. as long as you know how to use sandpaper and spray paint, then you should have no problem. the first time I ever painted an interior was on my car and I think it turned out really nice.

They are now white! and a little addition where my dome light used to be. Put my new gauges in, and sorta fixed my stereo kinda. oh and btw my rims I bought off my friend DON"T FIT!!! yeah, so looks like I get my money back...I double it and buy brand new ones, lol. anyway I'll take a picture tonight when I get home from work, but for now I am late!!! see-ya

Re: my dreaded interior :(

don't feel bad, i spent around 50 or so hours painting my center consol making it the different colors and making it all shinny and then dropped it and had to sand one part smooth (luckly the seat will cover it. and then there is a piece that goes in were teh auto shifter is and the center consol well when i put it back on i chipped paint around it so i have to do some touch-ups. might just say fuck it and toss it

Re: my dreaded interior :(

plan on repainting everything sometime soon, just take a whole day and do nothing but paint, dash cover, dash, top dash part, bottom dash part, center console, a-pillars. Then paint the doors and the back parts. then after all that is said and done I will finish it with a glossy spray, in hopes on not chipping anything when I go to put it back in, which ranks very high with me as well as cavy2000
