Creating your own gauge faces...
Awhile back I saw a link to some instructions on how to make your own gauges on your computer and make your own face overlays. Can anyone give me a link?

I saw that link too, but I don't remember what it was...
Basically though, it just said pull out your guage cluster and remove the stock guage faces. Then scan them into your computer and go to town on 'em with Photoshop or whatever. I was able to find some down-loadable printable guage faces for my car, so I used some of those as a template, and made my own versions in photoshop. Unfortunately, the site just had ones for 4th gen civics (88-91), so I can't even begin to tell you where you might find some for your car... Here's an example of what I've done so far: Speedometer... Going to have to re-do it in MPH though... ![]() Tach... ![]() Temp/Fuel Guages...

Ok, but how do you get it light up at night? How can you read it if it covers the light?

In my guage cluster, there's lighting above the guages...
Also, I was going to completely remove the original guage faces, and I imagine light would shine through...
