I.m putting a new\used tranny in my 95 grand caravan. everything is going well . Just ran into one small problem. I can,t get the tourque converter all the way in. I should sit approx. 1\2 in.back from face of housing. It is sitting 1\4 past the face . HELP
What do I have to do to get it in properly |

Re: tourque converter
If you pull out the torque converter and look at the end that fits in the transmission, you will see a slot, that is suppose to lock into the transmission. I believe that your torque converter is not aligned properly with the transmission. Rotate the converter until it pushes in and locks.
