Re: will 14inch rims from 1992 miata fit on 1993 323

ok what you need is 4 x 100

this is the size most common to mazdas, and also to honda civics.... toyota tercels....

and you need like um 5-7 inch wide.

No idea if that is your miata. in general there are many proteges using miata wheels. but there are some miata wheels that wouldnt work as well.

If you want to keep the same tires you need the same rim size.

I dont recomend getting bigger than 14 inch. The reason is that stronger struts are not easily available on the market for our cars. Ok and you removing rubber from the wheel puts more stress on the shicks in your car, and unfortunately the stock struts are better than any for sale in the us so when you kill those you need to put kybs on, and they are worse.

hopefully that helped any other questions post away. Im looking into the same sort of thing for my 95 protege.

Re: will 14inch rims from 1992 miata fit on 1993 323

Yes they would fit. But it seems that only tires availible for miata rims are just 1CM wider than 13 inch tires I already have. I am thinking of buying 15-16inch tires so car would at least have some grip in turns.
But most likely I will let wheels/tires stay stock for a little while. Tires are brand new, so it would be a waste. After the car is repainted and I will be 100% positive about the engine swap possibility I will buy a set of 16s for it and start scaring V8s 8).
P.S. The owner of custom speed shop around here suggested that it IS possible to stick LS1 into 323. I know it would be time consuming and plain insane but....
...Pulling up to the light in 2200lb car with a 5.7liter V8. Oh man, priceless.
