new wheels and body graphics

hey everybody,
check this out This is the newest incarnation of my car. keep in mind it is an 88 standard model hatch. So, whats new? How about going from those heavy 17" ICW Racing wheels for these sweetass lightweight 15" Rota Slipstreams with BFGoodrich rubber and the black vinyl graphics that I designed and put on myself. But anyway, check it out and let me know what you think!

Where are the pics??? Yeah I love the Spoon SW388s but they are too damn expensive so I would buy the slipstreams too if I didn't already have nice rims

First things first, thanks MELT for posting the pics for me. What do people use to post their pics on this forum. Someone said put them on the web first instead of posting off my computer. So what photo host do you use?
Secondly, my bumpers, door molding, and door handles used to be that black plasitc shi(cough). I had them painted when the car was painted by Maaco. They need to spray adhesion promoter on them so the paint doesn't chip off when the plastic flexes. That is about all there is too it. I would advise doing it.
Well, future plans are to blackout the windows, CF hood, black projectors, amber side marker lights, and maybe a few other things. I'm not a big fan of altezza's so I may spray tint my taillights.
Thanks again MELT for posting for me.

I got it done in March and it costed me $475. I had the prep plus, color coat, one clear, 2 door jambs and under the hatch done. I wish now that I would have gotten some more clear, maybe 2 more coats. Job turned out great. I am happy with it. I would do the prep work before you go though. If there are any dents, dings, or whatever, take care of that yourself. You are only paying for the spray job at places like that.

I got my car painted at Maaco and I hate it. It was done about a year and a half ago and there are already spots on the fenders where rust is showing through the paint, on spots that they supposedly fixed.

rust can only be removed by cutting out the area infected & patching. which requires high skill in body repair. rust is like cancer, its never really gone until you remove the pieces with the rust. it can be hidden for a year or so with some good bondo work

I have a small rust hole on my right rear fender. aint no way im replacing the full body panel. trim off the fender lips on all 4 corners & have some flares installed & blended for use of wider tires
