Question wobble

Sirs,
I'm hearing the sound of a wobbling in, what i think is the driver side front, though i feel no wobble while driving. and there is no pulling to one side or the other. The faster I go the more pronounced the wobbling sound. Is this an alignment issue? I do notice wear on the outside of the tire. But the sound is loud enough that the alignment thing sounds like it not be the case.
One thing, a few weeks ago one of the hoses in the coolant system burst and I had to drive it in the "temperture red" for a bit. Might this be a problem stemming from this that had only become worse as time has passed?
I took the wheel off for a "look-and-see" but didn't find anything that looked out of the ordinary (Except there was some grease on the lug nut threads) Also, the front struts are gone. I'm replacing them at the first of the month.
Any help on this would be a good thing.
Thanks
-A
