pics of the new sedan
managed to FINALLY get my digicam to work at last
here are the pics of the day i got it, nothing has changed yet im leaving the bodywork until DEAD last on this project as im not sure what colour to do it and dont want to do it the wrong colour. anyway my plans are to get a spare D14 from a breakers , fit Suzuki bandit carbs, D15B cam, Port & polish(myself), 4-2-1 header, lightweight underdrive pulley, and IF the engine will handle it a small shot of N20 not sure on performance figures i would be hitting but with it stripped out im sure it would be fun to drive none the less im picking up a PI suspension setup tomorrow and hopefully the 14" JDM rims off another forum member however collection is looking a problem so that may fall through the cars done 101k, 2 owners, more overspray than your mums boobs, but the interior is tidy and the running gear seems fine everybody i have spoken to dislikes the car, but i couldnt give a $hit, i like it for what it is, and what you can do to them, also in the civic scene it will be something which i am unaware anyone else is doing in the UK so it will be fun anyway heres the pics ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: pics of the new sedan
The paint doenst look terrible. Looks fine to me, you could still rescue it. Give it a good three step wax job and you should be fine IMO.

Re: pics of the new sedan
Woh man. You definitely took a step backwards going from a b16 hatch to a twin carbed 1.4l But I'm sure you can you mod that 4g4d to be as fast as a b16 car...
As for exhaust. I'd go for DC Sports Header and then go with the catback system. I'm sure they make it for the 4 door. And if they don't make it specifically for the four door anything can be done. If you want pulleys I highly recommmend Unorthodox Racing pulleys. A member with a turboed ka24 240sx named TatII works for Unorthodox Racing in NY. Maybe he can hook you up. On the other end, use a 9 or 12lb. flywheel and stage 1-2 clutch. An AEM or any brand of cam gear and more agressive cam would defnitely be a plus. If you're really planning on making that d engine a beast, you can take p29 d16a1? pistons or aftermarket JE pistons and put them in to raise the compression to like 10.5-11.5:1... It sounds like you're going for something different. It'll be interesting to see how your carb project turns out as not many people have done that...

Re: pics of the new sedan
well tbh i will need your help guys, im going to build up a spare engine,
but surely a set of 1.6 pistons wont fit in a 1.4? the carbs will be swapped for bike ones with any luck if not then the current carbs are EASILY tuneable, a friend has 121HP with just a header, system and playing with the carbs just fitted some Koni shocks and PI springs tonight, handles a lot better, now for some rims, I will be trying to Trade EDM parts for stuff like cam gears and pulleys if possible, my mate has a 1.6-16 braking soon so i will have the tails, dials, headrests etc etc, all to barter with, maybe rear flaps too cheers Guys Jim

Re: pics of the new sedan
Nice 4g4d, It's been a while since I've been on here so I just thought I'd bring back an old thread.
