1999 Taurus SE Squeaky Brake Pedal
Recently, I've noticed a squeaky sound that seems to be coming from the brake pedal itself when you press down hard. Is this something I should be concerned with?
The brakes should be good as I had them checked a few months ago - back breaks were still good, but I had the front pads replaced and rotors re-surfaced at that time. Any thoughts? |

Re: 1999 Taurus SE Squeaky Brake Pedal
In the past couple of weeks, someone posted this same question. In that situation, a little bit of well placed multipurpose oil on the brake pedal linkage solved the noise.
You may want to search this forum for "pedal squeak" or similar for possible details. -Rod |
