Desperate for Information

I am seriously looking at purchasing a 2007 Eclipse GS. It will be an 4 speed automatic, what i am really interested in finding out is has anyone out there had any problems with theirs and what kind of problems. I heard of a problem with the fan belt needing to be changed every 55 to 60K. If anyone can help me it would be great!

Re: Desperate for Information

Well, needing to replace belts is not a problem. You need to change your belts every so often, and 50-75K miles or so I dont think is that bad. I dont really see that as a problem. As for any other problems, I dont really know a whole lot about the 4G eclipses...hope some other peeps have a little more info for ya.

Re: Desperate for Information

thanks for the info, what about in the 2006 models, took one out for a test drive last week and loved it. Do you know of anyone who knows how it drives in snow, I live in North Western Ontario Canada, cant seem to find out about how they handle in snow either

Re: Desperate for Information

most cars handle POORLY in snow. unless you have some AWD action, then it is fun to rally around those corners.
