Torque specifications?

If anyone has a manual with rebuild specifications, I'd appreciate some help.

I need the main bearing cap bolt torque specs for a 1993 1.5 SOHC 3 valve per cylinder E series Toyota engine. I have some conflicting information from some aftermarket sources. One says 42 ft/lb (not N/m) and another says 16 ft/lb then 90° additional turn. Confused....

Re: Torque specifications?

What car is it from? Tercel?

Autozone says 42 ft-lbs

AERA also says 42 ft-lbs.
