Does anyone know if a 1989 3sgte block and head would hook up straight to a 1993 3sgte externals. Including wiring, manifolds, starter, ect...

why not just sell your 3SGTE and build up a new one if you're going to get the block and such?

Hey nailusa I didn't know you're still around these parts. I've been away quite a bit working on my project. How's your GT4 going? Last I remember something was wrong with it =/

Re: 89 3sgte and 93 3sgte block swap

Anyone know who wants to buy a bored out block for a 89 with forged pistons, rings, h beam rods, steel crank, new seals, and new bearings. Also have the rebuilt complete head and valve cover to go along with it. I also have a complete motor, that could be rebuilt, and tranny with all wiring, intake manifold, and sensors? And many other parts. All internals, intake manifold, fuel rails, fuel injectors, water pump, 2 flywheels, a complete clutch, and many others. I need the stuff gone. Please let me know if you want it. Also make an offer on it.

Hey...I dont get to spend much time here any more, but I do look in from time to time to see how you guys are doing. The GT4 is great...still going strong...well strongish as I have broken 4th gear, so a new gearbox is sat waiting to go in, a hybrid turbo is on order.........hmmmm yummy....and its booked in to get a respray...well, a touch up to get rid of the rust etc so its all good.

I help run a new GT4 web site www.gt4ec.net under the user name "Insanity"
anyone is welcome to come and say Hi....if you have a sgte engine then its full of people who can help you out, and membership is free for now...shameless plug......Hope everyone is OK and enjoying their Celica`s

Good to hear your GT4 is going great, such a nice and rare car. I know I am enjoying my celica, just one adjustment before it runs correctly. and now it has 3.90 something gears in the back and rear disc brakes
