65 bucks more for the SOHC model opposed to the DOHC model? wtf? anyone find this cheaper than 280?

The AEM intake isn't even a true CAI, it's more of a WAI. It puts the filter above the exhausy manifold which draws in HOT AIR. If you want a TRUE CAI then you need to go with an Iceman, but they have been discontinued. I can get you a used one for around $170 that comes with the tube, filter, and new tray or I can get you just the tube for around $80 and you can trim the stock battery tray and buy any filter you would like.

if you read it says they put their cones out of the engine compartment...but i guess if you have experience with this product i will take your word for it.

The ORIGINAL AEM intake was similiar to the Iceman, but for whatever reason, they changed it.

that's looks like a first gen setup. anyone have a cai for the second gen? i wanna know what it looks like so i won't run into any probs when i get the cai i bought shipped to me.

You have a 2nd gen???? That's all the difference then. AEM makes a great intake for the 2nd gen. It's $243.99 with free shipping from Modern Performance...
