exhaust
I am looking to get an exhaust for my Oldmobile alero (3.4, 6 cylinder) I want to get away from the tuner car sound (what I call a waa waa exhaust) Can anyone suggest an exhaust that will give me a deeper more rumble sound but still give a performance upgrade. Im not really concerned with being lound but I would like some sound and performance.

Re: exhaust
The Borla or SLP from PFYC might fit your Alero.
PFYC A Custom Exhaust would be much cheaper. The Flowmaster 80 series #42583 fits under the rear just like the stock muffler, but it has dual outs(2.5"). I'll look around and see what I find on the net.

Re: exhaust
Well bossbug2001, I looked around and you are right.
I could not find any either . I even sent PFYC an email and asked them and they said neither Grand am exhaust would fit the Aleros. Looks like a custom one is your only choice. Good Hunting

Re: exhaust
Would I be able to use this exhaust (Flowmaster 80 series #42583) on my 2001 2.4 SE?

Re: exhaust
Sure can use it with about any 99+ Grand am/Alero.
Will have to probly make another muffler mount but thats not big deal. Though with the 4cyl, it wont sound as beefy like the V6.
