Talking k&n filter help

Alright. I got a 93 cav, 2.2l, and i wanna get a k&n filter. I looked on their site but i only saw the drop-in one that fits the existing airbox. I wanna take all that out and replace it with the new pipe and everything(get away from stock). What would you people recomend as i'm not that famaliar with this kind of stuff. Also, what would be the price range, and is the change noticable compared to stock filter?

Re: k&n filter help

your best bet is to get rid of the who stock intake system and replace it with a warm air intake. you will see some increase in gas milage and performance..

Re: k&n filter help

Hmm yeah, I think your talking about a whole new intake system, with a K&N Filter to top. You should either get a cold air intake or a warm air, depending on your spending range. After that, any universal aftermarket K&N filter should work, as long as its the same size of the pipe. If you look for a filter for a certain car, it will most likely be fit for the stock intake set up.

Re: k&n filter help

like mentioned before, your best bet is to buy either a CAI or WAI for your car and then if you wanted find a K&N filter and swap it out. here is one CAI for your application http://www.jbodyperformance.com/new/...catName=JP0553
