FS: Complete MPFI Swap

I had an old post about it but I thought a new one would get better attn, here's what I've got for sale, a complete MPFI swap, this includes engine harness, intake (fuel rail, injectors, manifold, and throttle body), ECU, Injector resistor box, distributor w/ wires, and manifold brace. Here's a pic of everything you get, the price is $150 + shipping, I had shipping quoted to San Francisco and it was $50 for both boxes ($24 for one and $26 for the other) so you have something to go by. It's boxed and ready to go, ebay will get it in exactly one week if nobody here buys it.

I just completed that swap. I used the intake manifold from a d16z6. it is very worth the work. i just have one question. Is the intake manifold from a CRX HF the same as the other models with MPFI? The manifold and throttle body look pretty damn small.

anyways, coupla pics...

I'm looking for a DX ECU so I can use my car with a DX engine (only replacement I've found) if you have one I'd be willing to knock a little off of the price as a partial trade I'm also needing some other stuff for my car, if you can help me out I'd be willing to let it go for shipping cost only... here's a list of what I need less the engine I'm picking up at the JY

DX ECU
headlights (full assemblies less markers, getting clears)
headlight and marker light wiring (need one socket for the side and two plugs for the lights)
DX Gage cluster (cant afford a EX/Si)

that's stuff I absolutely need to get my car back on the road. only the headlights have to be from a sedan, the other stuff is pretty much univ on the 4th gens.

You have mail.. If you reply here first though.. I have the DX ECU that I will trade but I must warn you I cannot ship it until the MPFI swap is operational should'nt take me long It might take a week to 2 weeks depending on when I get it I will ship you the ECU first class. How many miles does it have on it? Do you think my DX Aftermarket intake will fit on it? Do you have an aftermarket intake for it I will trade you mine since you are going DX........ We will talk about the money privatly.

well, I was going to basically convert my EX to a DX but a DX ECU wont work because I have a 5-speed tranny

I dont really see the point of converting a ex to a dx...but, hey...your car

as far as a dx ecu..it'll work with a 5 speed tranny..ecu's have nothing to do with the tranny...and besides, dx's are 5 speeds.

as far as converting your car to a dx...that's gonna be a bit of wiring to actually lessen your performance. there's nothing wrong with using a complete dx engine w/ the ex manifold and dizzy...that's your easiest route, really..

well, I actually thought about just saving up a few hundred more and getting a A6 from Nippon, it'll cost about $650 after shipping but I think it'll be a better shot than that old D15 from the junkyard.
