Best place to buy Brake Rotors and Pads???

Need to do my front brakes...rotors and pads.
I called St. Charles Isuzu and got a surprise - way more money than I had hoped to pay. (pads = $66.69, rotors=$88.32 each with discount!)
My local NAPA store is much cheaper($22 to $41 for pads, $36 each rotors).
So - where have you bought these parts?
Are the cheapo rotors so bad? Did you re-pack the bearings yourself?
What was your experience doing this job??

how long did the orginal pads last?

Many have stated the non-oem pad on a OEM rotors tend to squeal and make lots of noise, and typically don't last very long.

A lot of times it is, you get what you pay for.

I had the dealer swap out my rear pads a couple of months ago at the cost of 180 bucks. I got about 72k on them, so if I get another 70k on the next set it is worth it to me then only getting 40k on a cheap set.

These front rotors are original. 98,000 miles. Pads were changed by the dealer, according to PO's receipts, at about 60,000 miles. This Rodeo has been hauling my trailers quite a bit in the last three years.
Any other experiences to share?

I used Satisfied Pro Ceramic pads on mine front and back. I havent replaced my rotors yet but will have to eventually (at minimum specs now). They stop great and the only noise I get from them is if I'm hard on the brakes creeping down a hill. Then they groan quite a bit but doesnt bother me. I havent checked to see how they are wearing but I would rather have brakes that stop good instead of ones that last long. Checkers had the front ones in stock but had to order the rear ones. Took a while because they shipped directly from the factory in Ontario Canada. The dog sleds dont work so well when they run out of snow LOL.

For rotors I'm thinking of going with Power Slot rotors whenever I do mine. They cost about the same as OEM. I used cheapy autozone ones on my mitsu which warped all the time. But those trucks are known for warping rotors and drums so dont know that it was from the quality of them.

I used Brembo OEM Rotors from Tirerack.com, and Akebono Ceramic Pads front and back. Best decision on brakes ever.

Had rotors and pads replaced last year, about 12,000 miles later, pads are worn and need replacing...going with OEM pads this time.

I'll avoid the cheapo rotors and do some surfin' for prices.
