GTC vs. Civic.

I don't know if I can really call this a kill, but it pissed me off.

I had just gotten off I-15 and there is a Civic in the other lane with a body kit that didn't fit and was beat to hell. At least it was the same color as the car. He had a fart can that wasn't even hung very well. He also has taken his hubcaps off cause' that makes you a hard core drag racer. Anyhow, I wouldn't have paid any more attention to him but he was taking off like he had somewhere to be. I get past him and he makes an effort to keep up with me. We get to the street where I usually turn to go to work and he takes the lane to the left. This makes me think he wants to race, so instead of turning I go straight. We sit at the light and when it turns green I give it a little juice but he doesn't bite. We get to the next light and he keeps inching up and ends up killing his car, gets it restarted and I give a few revs to let him know my intentions. The light turns green and I give it about half throttle and he went WOT. Once I was in second it was a joke. Before I could get into third he had shut it down. We headed down a hill and I had to turn at the bottom to get to work. As soon as I hit the turning lane he does the flyby.

That little race made me late for work since I had to sit in the parking lot and let the turbo cool. I never get any action and when I do it is pussies like this in cars that weren't even worth my time.

Re: GTC vs. Civic.

Its too bad he had to pull the fly-by on you. And i feel your pain, i havent had a single race all summer. But that is going to change soon.

Good kill. Flybys make me emo. They are the next worse thing to a neutral drop. When are we going to hear some Stealth kills?

Re: GTC vs. Civic.

nice race. too many civics out here although theres quite a few clean ones, even if its just rims and exhaust. but they dont really race too much, normally its just the beat up ones, its almost a waste of gas to put them in their place...almost hehe

Well, I need to get off my ass this weekend and take care of the coolant system. Also, I don't want to drive it hard until after the timing belt and water pump are replaced.

Jacking in progress

Thats pretty funny but nothing beats the grand prix with a semi truck exhaust thats about 10 inches wide and a 4 foot wing that is rice.

Un-jacked

Re: GTC vs. Civic.

Shit, I haven't had a street race in over 13 months, let alone drive an actual CAR. I give you no simpathy and award you zero points.

j/k, Nice kill, too bad it wasn't more interesting and not so stereotypical.

Where have you been!?!?!?

Anyhow, that is exactly my problem. That is the reason I don't post kill stories very often because they aren't very interesting and they are stereotypical. The only reason I posted this one was because I was mad that I was late to work and sat out in my car and stewed while the turbo cooled.

In thier FWD cars?

LOL, do you meant the Stealth? I've been driving the GTC to work everyday though I do need to change the vac system, change the valve cover gasket, change the oil, change the plugs, wires, start tearing out the interior, put in the stereo, gauges, change the ground wires, change the exhaust, change the brake system and put in the SS lines, and relocate the battery. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. The only reason I haven't finished the Stealth is because I'm not allowed to be on my feet for more than thirty minutes each day because of my accident at work.

The radiator cap and overflow cap needed to be replaced because the engine was just forcing coolant out the overflow and not taking it back into the radiator so the engine was overheating and thinning out the oil. I replaced the caps but it needs coolant and since I had an accident at work I'm not allowed to be on my feet for more than thirty minutes at a time or be bending over so I can't go out and fill it.
